Powys, United Kingdom, Living Room Treehouse for 2
On the southern skirts of Snowdonia National Park sit six full-sized tree houses that can be lived in year-round or stayed in for a few nights while exploring the National Park. The company that built them, named Living Room, designed the houses to complement the graceful wooded landscape by constructing them to match their surroundings. With an elegant wood theme running through the structures, each house is perched atop sturdy branches and run between several trees for extra stability. Open spaces with views of the woods are a common theme, and parts of the trees on which they rest are often incorporated into the design. Each tree house is equipped with a full kitchen, shower, hot and cold water, a double bed, and may include up to three more single beds depending on the house’s design. A woodburning stove allows for a more natural way to prepare meals. Spiral staircases lead up to the main entrance from the forest floor, and each house even includes outer walkways or balconies that allow the visitor to rest among the trees in style and comfort.
