Titlis Mountain Cable Car

An exhilarating lift up Titlis Mountain in the world’s first rotating aerial cableway is perhaps the best way to take in a panoramic view of the white mountain tops. Switzerland is famous for its Alps, and a visit to the peaks is a must while touring the country. Titlis soars into the atmosphere at 3,000 metres (9,842 ft), and the cable car takes visitors on a wild ride up the slope of the mountain to the top.
Other attractions of Titlis include the Ice Flyer, a free ski lift that takes passengers above crevices and snow-covered landscapes. In Winter months, the lift drops riders off on the summit for the ski slopes. During Summer months, it takes visitors to Titlis Glacier Park.
The peak is well known for its restaurants that offer dining with a view, and the area is home to Europe’s highest suspension footbridge: Titlis Cliff Walk.
