This is perhaps the most colorful Street in all of Paris. Lined on either side by rows of brightly colored houses, each shade brings out a rainbow effect along the whole stretch. Thirty-five private houses line the street, and the tenants are proud of their colorful corner, maintaining it for character. Unlike the surrounding streets with their Haussmann style houses, the identical houses on Rue Cremieux are the terraced cottage style of England.
The best part about the Rue Cremieux? It’s not a known tourist attraction, which means you can walk down the colorful street without a large group jostling and pushing for a view. You won’t find gift shops or souvenirs here. Just a great place to marvel and snap a few we’ll placed pictures.
