London King’s Cross Platform 9 ¾ by Cmglee from Wikimedia Commons
A famous wall marks the point where the magical meets the mundane. Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station is a portal to the Hogwarts Express, transporting students of magic to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Protruding from the wall is the back end of a luggage trolley that seems to be stuck mid-transference through the bricks. Enthusiasts can hold on to the cart in pretense of traversing the wall into the magical realm while having a friend snap a photo of the moment.
Professional photographers are available at the platform, and the photos are made ready for purchase at the Harry Potter themed shop next door. Inside the shop, fans will find anything from wands to house robes to horcruxes for sale. The layout is designed to resemble Ollivander's Wand Emporium.
