Ireland is known as the birthplace of Halloween, where traditions uses turnip lanterns instead of pumpkin jack o'lanterns. Huge Bonfires and fireworks displays are popular on holidays. In culture, the country is famous for Folk music and dance, Irish pubs, soda bread, Gaelic football and hurling. Some of the most recognizable landmarks are the many Neolithic sites and stone monoliths, The Giant’s Causeway, and The Isle of Man. And of course, there are leprechauns, with their pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
