Dancing Horses of Andalusia

The Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art puts on a spectacular show of their famed dancing horses. The show lasts an hour and a half, and draws in crowds from across the globe.
Titled “How the Andalusian Horses Dance,” the show makes use of Andalusian culture during the performance. Horses show off choreographed steps as traditional Spanish music bounces along with the beat of their steps. Riders don the garb of their 18th-century ancestors, who were training horses in those days as well. Today, the show includes carriage pulling and classical dressage competitions, and doma vaquera, in which horses are guided through a series of patterns and steps.
Andalusia has a long history of famous purebred equestrians. Aristotle himself praised the animals for their beauty. The equestrian arts have held strong in the area for centuries, if not millenia, so you can bet the performance is one of the best in the world.
